My name is Ilham Abdi and I am a female carer with 4 years of experience in care providing. I am proud to say that my caring personality is one of my best attributes - I am always friendly and helpful, and I love to create a pleasant atmosphere for those I care for. My motivation for becoming a carer is to help people live as independently as possible, and to provide support so that they can maintain a high quality of life.
I have honed my skills over the years, particularly in the areas of bathing, toileting, assisting with dressing and catheter care. Additionally, I have experience working with patients with anxiety, depression, and heart disease. I am committed to providing the highest quality of care possible to all my clients and their families, and it is my pleasure to offer companionship to those who need it most.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking and reading. I am also very comfortable around animals and am fine with pets, including cats, fish, rabbits and birds. I am not able to drive and do not own a car, but I am always available to provide care in a person's home.
